Dr. Kristin Tallent, PharmD:

I’m a pharmacist gone, functional medicine practitioner.

I am an experienced Hormone Replacement Specialist focused on balancing hormones while optimizing your health in all other areas to get you feeling fantastic. I am passionate about helping people find the core problems causing their diseases and illnesses and providing them with a way to actually heal. I use a truly customized approach and provide each patient with individualized therapy regimens. I pride myself in the ability to blend my formal training as a pharmacist with a more lifestyle-oriented and supplement-driven approach. If you are ready to take control of your health and want to start feeling better, I am here to help you on your journey to wellness.

I meet patients one-on-one for virtual (online video) consultations. Most consultations average about 45 minutes. They are likely very different than what you might have experienced in the past with medical appointments - in a good way! You are able to take time to explain to me how you are feeling, what you've been experiencing, and describe your personal health goals in a judgment-free environment. Together, we build a plan that is mutually agreed upon and most beneficial for you individually.

I obtained my Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and have since continued to become further educated in alternative therapy practices. The universe redirected me to Maryland away from where I was born and raised to spread my wings and embark on a new adventure. My husband and I live in an extremely small home with no storage, an energetic toddler, and a tolerant standard poodle. You would likely find me spending time at home with my family, walking around the neighborhood with my little one, nose in a book, yarn on my lap, or out at a local restaurant.
