Mighty maca protein smoothie

This protein smoothie is great for women in the peri and post menopausal period. If taken daily it can help with symptoms of depression, anxiety, low libido, and can help reduce menopausal symptoms.

Blend…

1/2 cup frozen berries (organic)

1/2 small green banana

1/2 avocado

1 scoop of Mighty Maca

1 scoop of a plant based protein powder

2 tsp cinnamon

1-2 cups of almond or hemp milk (unsweetened)

Chocolate chip peanut butter energy balls

I’m always looking for a sweet & healthy treat and these energy balls are just that - packed with oats, chia seed, flax seed, and coconut. Full of healthy fats for sustained energy and brain health. And my kids are obsessed! Throw all ingredients below into a large bowl and mix with either your hands or a spoon. Put in the fridge for 10-20 minutes before forming into balls. No bake, easy peasy & delicious!

1 cup of oats ( I use gluten free)

1/2 cup of natural peanut butter

1/3 cup of honey or agave

1/2 cup of chocolate chips ( I use Good Life dairy free)

1 TBSP of chia seed

1 tsp of vanilla extract

2/3 cup of coconut flakes

1/2 cup of ground flax
